Wow, i've just had one of those days where you would wish you've had your camera along.

Nothing special about my actual day, i was at work, and had to run a few errands afterwards. But the weather has just been so summer-like with a beautiful blue sky and a glorious sun, and that warm feel to the air. I even took a detour down by the lake where i work, and i went for a stroll in busy copenhagen on my way home, while listening to the new coldplay cd. And i just had the urge to take pictures constantly, saw all the oppertunities and possible good shots. But my camera was safe a sound at my desktop at home. too bad, so when i finally got home with a fresh bag of strawberries from the local street grocery, i couldn't resist the urge to take some classic strawberry pictures. lol.

anyways, here's the result. Nothing out of the ordinary, but i think it kinda reasembles my mood today, colourful and summer like.

Hope everyone had a good day.

Hm. I'm buying an Apple laptop next week, when I get home. They offer books that I can do something like this with. I'm gonna take a quick look at their site.

Do you know how to do anything like this? If so, I might put some funds aside to hire you, if that's possible.

Actually yes i would be able to do something like this. It's a very interesting idea, and one of the more fun aspects of doing graphics design. Here im talking about the setup and creating the right template and digitally putting the book together in a satisfying way- but if you're refering to the actual printing and binding of the book i would suggest having it done by proffesionals in the printing business.

I mean, when you've spend the money on a good enough printer, bought the actual heavy papir (perhaps almost cardboard like), and spend hours fiddling with the binding - it would have been almost equally as expansive and 5 times as time consuming, besides you might end up with a worse product.

But you should deffinitly ask around, do you know any printing shops ? i mean, basicly just go down to them and ask what they would need to print such a product, im quite sure they would have a range of choices for you to choose from.

I'll put it on my to-do list when I get home. There are a ton of printing places in my area. I'll take a picture of what I want down and get a quote. We'll talk more about this soon. I'll be photographing a wedding in August and then attending Temple University later that month, so I want a new portfolio to start my at my new college, to show off to places for jobs, etc.

Mmmh. I just spent the last hour or so picking strawberries from the garden. This just reminded me I'm allowed to eat them now they're all picked. Scuse me as I go do just that. I love the color, by the way!
